Dear Students

The Botswana Open University was approached by an organization called Applied Higher Education (AppliedHE) to participate in a pilot project aimed at assessing Institutional readiness for Online delivery. The Singapore based organization deals with assessment of Institutions worldwide in areas such as Online Delivery Readiness and effectiveness of their programmes.

The organization offered the University a free pilot survey to measure the level of BOU student satisfaction with Online delivery and support. In view of the fact that BOU has fully embarked on Online delivery, it was found prudent that the Institution should participate in this exercise which will provide an opportunity to audit the quality of our Online delivery. The benefits of this survey would be immeasurable for the Institution as we strive to improve our Online delivery processes.

As students you are critical stakeholders directly involved in BOU Online delivery. It is due to the pivotal role you play that your views are highly important. The results of the survey will no doubt help BOU to improve its Online delivery processes as the Institution develops to be a digital beacon nationally and beyond. I therefore implore you to participate in this exercise for the betterment of Online delivery in our University.
